Let me get this straight... (spoilers)

Jane responds to an ad Sir Paul puts in Times in order to seek revenge for her late husband, Ralph something, who was essentially a pedophile that committed suicide because of a review Sir Paul wrote? Then we find out Sir Paul is actually a pedophile also?

So I don't get it...if Jane hadn't locked him in the closet, she wouldn't have come back to the house to find Sir Paul waiting with a gun. If she continued to keep messing with his mind and driving him crazy, would they have finished the book and then he'd kill himself? I think it's safe to assume the horrific car crash that blinded him was a failed attempt at suicide. What was the point of him writing the book? I just feel like something is missing.

Good movie, though!!!

Yes you are right, I had inclinations that Sir Paul was a paedophile as comments on the young girl passing with her mum in Oxford other flash backs of the portrait

Yeah some plotholes mos definitely. Did Jane feel guilty for locking him in the wardrobe? Why did she go back? She was constantly messing with his mind he knew but did nothing

I don't think it was a good movie good premise of a movie but not well worked Tom Conte was the only actor "acting" well. Daryl Hannah nude scenes were great locations were nice but that's about it

What plotholes? She felt guilty, so returned. He hated himself, so he didn't stop her taunting. Simple.
