Yes, I lived very close to New Hope, PA just across the Delaware and it's a nice little town that dates back over 200 years ago and there are a few places in that area that are said to be haunted. I've been to the Logan Inn and never saw anything nor have I known anyone else who did.
I lived very close to Clinton, NJ and they have that famous red mill which is said to be haunted. As children we played in the waterfall and swam in the river Raritan and one summer we were playing there and one of the other kids I was with yelled look up there. We looked and saw a small young boy who was on the third floor just staring at us and we looked at each other and looked up again and he was gone. There is also supposed to be a young girl who fell when the mill made wool, she fell into the machine and was crushed. Its been said that she tugs on people's coats when they walk by. I've been inside but that has never happened to me. That whole area sits on limestone, including New Hope and they say that limestone attracts ghost.
Hunterdon County is said to have a number of hauntings, one being the courthouse and the other across the street at the Union Hotel. A lot of the older, restored homes on Main Street have also had some hauntings by the residence who now live there. This was where the trial of Bruno Richard Hauptmann stood trial for the kidnapping of Charles Lindbergh Jr and the crowds that gather across the street each day during his trial. I've been in both, a number of times but can report that nothing ever happened to me. There have always been rumors that the 2nd and 3rd floors of the hotel were haunted, mostly seen by employees. Since I can remember, its been mostly a restaurant on the main floor while the second and third floors were where guest stayed during the trial but now remain empty. It's hasn't been a hotel in a really long time. The old courthouse is rarely used now, its still there, but the County built a huge Courthouse and complex where a lot of the County offices are now.
There have been very many theories by residents of Flemington that Hauptmann didn't kill Charles, Jr. Some people think Anne Morrow Lindbergh might have suffocated her son because she was going through postpartum depression (which was undiagnosed and unheard of back in 1935). Who knows lots of theories over the years and everyone associated with the case are long dead.
