Certain cultures that have strong beliefs in Ghost

Most European, Chinese, Japanese and Mexican/Spanish cultures have some type of belief or tradition in ghost and/or spirits. I know the terminology changes from country to country but these beliefs are similar and fascinating in nature. This also applies to religions. From Christianity to Buddhism ghosts or spirits play a role. Here are just a few of these traditions and beliefs that I discovered over time. There seems to be the white or black woman that wears flowing white or black robes and has suffer from some type of trauma that lead to her death or tragic deaths who was betrayed by a husband, boyfriend and/or her fiancé.

I remember my grandmother telling me stories when I was very young about a Irish young woman who wore white flowing gown who was traumatized when she learned about her husband's betrayal and died that night from a broken heart. I didn't understand it back then but she came over on the boat from Ireland so she grew up with these stories about mystical women who warned people that something bad was about to take place.

Another thing I've noticed from this show and others that are similar. That most religions mention guardian angels or protective spirits that surround the living, which I've seen numerous stories on CGS. Ghosts as solitary essences that are often mist like. It is said they are connected to particular locations, objects, or people they were associated with in life. Scores of cultures have stories of phantom armies, ghost trains, phantom ships, like the Flying Dutchman and the soldiers at Gettysburg. A belief in ghost animals is common as well.

I wonder if some of these stories from the various celebrities are part of the culture they grew up in and they might have been more open to them. 👻
