What city were they in?
...anybody know?
I believe it was Atlanta, GA.
shareDuh on me! Left hand column under other info click on filming locations.
shareWe shot the film in various areas of Atlanta.
The house where the parents of "Jennifer" lived was a block or two off Memorial Drive in Decatur. I played a neighbor.
The beautiful church where the wedding was held is across from the Jewish Temple at the corner of Peachtree and Spring. I played a wedding guest. BTW this church has the most stained glass windows of any church in America, it is quite beautiful.
The wedding reception was held in the Fuqua Arboretum next to Piedmont Park. In the film the reception was in the spring time so everyone was wearing clothing appropriate to that time of year. But when we shot the film the weather that morning was freezing and the women really suffered due to their light weight dresses. Later in the afternoon the sun warmed up the glass gazebo where we were all dancing. There too I was a wedding guest.

Hello,
Do you by any chnace know the location of her townhouse in Atlanta? I thought I drove by it several times but now I'm not sure.
Don't forget in films we often mix the exterior of one building with the interior of another. When I was in "October Road" actual locations were measured and photographed then reconstructed in a sound stage.
I do not know the location(s) they used for the townhouse in "My Fake Fiance".

As with PP, it was atlanta but it was strange at one point Vince suggests inviting Donald trump to the wedding making you think the movie is supposedly set in NYC.
But with Peachtree Christian Church (a very famous church in Atlanta) the Atlanta skyline and the park, filmed in Atlanta, GA in the credits and the peach logo there's no denying it was filmed in Atlanta.
It's also where Brian Littrell and his wife Leighanne married on September 2, 2000.
Beautiful place. It's been on the National Register of historic places since 1984 and was built in the 1920s
