Usually when I watch a movie I find SOMETHING good about it, whether it was shot well, maybe edited really stylishly, or whatever.
This movie has no redeemable qualities whatsoever. The effects were terrible, acting horrible, camera work was *beep* editing was slow and poorly executed. This movie tried really hard to follow the formula of the first film, just done really poorly at the helm of a director that couldn't hold a candle to Carnahan's stlye.
This is coming from an action fan who loved the first Smokin' Aces. But that is just my opinion

Ariella isn't a good part? lol

I think they did a very good job. Things like going to the trouble of making the tranquil Japanese setting for the brain abuse, or having some real dialogue between Weed and Baker and (ostensibly) their families.

the first smokin aces is better, but I loved the jazz club shootout at the end of assassin's ball, that was epic lol
