The explosions were obviously faked. The dialog was flat. The characters were one dimensional. KCT had what, one line? I didn't give a shinola about any character. The IT was fake. Fake Fake Fake. They should have hired QT to do this.

I agree. The explosions and cheesey CGI reminded me of "Sharknado" or "Birdemic".

Lots of things were stupid and could have been easily fixed with the simple use of a dictionary.. and not cost that much to rectify ..
A glaring example for me was the use of the word cryptology to describe pieces of tech or something where as cryptology is actually the study of codes et. al..
The stupid cylindrical FBI ops centre was another WTF .. no one in their right mind would build an ops center/room to look like that.
