Where the heck was Amal leading them? (In the tunnels) Was he really a bad guy/terrorist? Also, RIP Andrews

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe just a way for the script writers to get Amal to die. And Andrews.. thank God. He was such a d*ck.

i want to know the answer to the question aswell... and if he was really a bad guy why would he tell them to run after stepping on a land mine?

because his daughter was there, he wanted them to take care of his daughter.

Besides, I don't think he was a bad guy

Yeah, he was acting suspicious for no reason. It was weirdly handled especially when Isla was pointing to go another way. I don't think he was a bad guy, I think he was just lost.
