This show is too good to end. There must be another network that sees its potential to keep it going. I had it on auto record and somehow it didn't record til the last two episodes of the last season, so I got the DVDs and just finished the 8th season. It is so light and uplifting. We need this in this day and age of political meltdown. Please keep it going!…..But was there no makeup person on the last season?
shareAs much of a fan as I was, I think the show ran its course. There were a number of missteps along the way. I think it went out on a decent finale, albeit a safe finale.
I do agree, however, we need more uplifting programming on the air, like Leverage, Chuck, and Burn Notice (pre-season 6) were. If I had a dime, I'd start a production company (didn't realize Chicago was such a hotbed for TV shows of late...and not just the Dick Wolf shows) and make a show along the lines of one of these.
