Real friggin bummer... be forewarned. Few funny moments but for the most part a total bummer... say comedy..isn't even dramedy. Jenna Fisher is very good in it. Her family is annoying , kid is a pain in the ass and pretty much everyone in it treats her like crap ... bummer...
shareyeah, it is so depressing. The end made me feel like life sucks, and nobody is going to help you make the right choices in life and some people will make choices that screw you over and ugh. So sad.
And the funny moments were there just to keep you from sobbing the whole film.
I completely agree. Before I watched it, I was thinking "Oh yeah. Comedy. Jenna Fischer. She's cute and fun. This should be good." I was depressed from the beginning and the ending didn't quite make me feel any better. I agree with Jenna Fischer doing a great job in the film. I just think it was put into the wrong genre.
"Stay here with me. We'll start a jazz band."
Yeah, it's definitely not a comedy in the conventional sense, more like a drama that addresses heavy sheet with some amusing elements.
