Good plan someone mentioned, to tell her son to say no more about 9-11. But - nothing made sense in this movie. No likeable characters, no one learned anything, nothing resolved.
I'm so sorry I stayed with this movie. From the opening scene, of Jenna cleaning teeth, I disliked it. I kept waiting for something to turn the movie around. It never happened.
To those who liked it, glad you enjoyed it. It didn't work for me - and I had assumed I'd like Jenna in anything. Bitter Pam wasn't fun to watch.

Something did happen; Bob died. I thought that was brilliant because he'd been like an albatross around Jenna's neck, and now she could blossom. I was ready for a nice long happy ending but then comes the law suit, the 9/11 lie, etc. so I found it somewhat disappointing in that way but it worked for me.

So did I. So much that I turned it off after the @$$hole husband died. I just didnt care what happened next. I hate it when actors who are known for funny comedy roles do low budget indie flicks that dont get a theatrical release that end up sucking really badly. First Matthew Perry did two anti-Chandler roles (Numb, Birds Of America) and then Jenna Fischer had to do it too. I just didnt care what happened to her character after the big death scene. And that's pretty much it!

Many things happened in the movie but the most important was that she learned to love and accept herself as an independent spirit which we as the audience learn when she talk to her dad at the end and her brother in law before that everyone is on her case for being a 30 something teenager no one would let her even make decisions for herself. She was taking the reins back.

So answer me this...I go to a particular IMDB movie page when I like the movie or maybe do not understand something...what compels a person to go just to be negative?? Its fine if you don't like a movie and maybe I mean this more for the tv shows IMDB pages where people who hate the show just go to troll and hate on things I cannot for the life of me understand the thought process.
