No, I think 'horror' is the correct genre. Well for a comedy it certainly didn't have me laughing very much, instead it left me wanting to suffocate myself with a chapati.

"Shaun of the Dead" wasn't scary and neither is this. What they have in common is that they are comedies with horror elements. What I think makes this more clearly horror-comedy is the explicit reference to "Carrie" in one scene.
