This is for anyone who has completed the game and the side quest 'Acquaintances Forgotten'.

Does anyone think that Adam Jensen is in fact a relative of JC and Paul Denton? Lets look at the evidence.

Adam was tested on as a baby by White Helix labs which is a subsidiary of Versalife, one of the major companies from Deus Ex. His real parents were scientists and they died in a fire they started at the labs in order to save Adam's life. He was taken to the Jensen family by a nurse called Michelle Walthers, because they couldn't have kids of their own. Megan Reed experimented on someone called Patient X, which is in fact Adam, this is where she got her research from. After the end credits Bob Page is discussing the Chimera nanite virus with Megan Reed, which makes me believe her research is a precursor to nano-augmentation. Finally once the scene finishes x-box players get an achievement called The D Project and the picture is that of the Deus Ex box art.

I get the feeling that she helps create the Denton brothers using Adam's DNA. Maybe Adam is in fact the real older brother of JC and Paul.

To be fair the game gives you more questions than answers. It's actually killing me because I really wanna know if he is a Denton.

Yeah, I remember some e-mails talking about using him as the building block for the next batch of kids. If with the samples that Megan got a hand on, they may have decided to create someone like him, namely Paul Denton.And the rest is history.

Either way, where´s hoping that Spyboy and Flygirl got together after all the *beep* that happened with Megan.

The nanite-chimera is hinted to be The Grey Death plague that ravages humanity in between 2027 and 2052 and I think that Adam Jensen is indeed the springboard for the Dentons.

God, I hardly read any of the emails, I found them hard to read with the distance between me and the tv:) I'd just check off any of the emails just incase they had a code I needed :) Am replaying the game now, so I will pay attention to the emails this time.

I think the Denton's are created from Adam's DNA though as he is the key to the augmentations working.

Yes they are indeed clones of Adam, which is why they are so readily excepting of the nano-augmentations in the first game. There is also an email in the facility in Singapore in Jenny Alexander's office, written to Bob Page that refers to the next batch and says that they "started naming them after the apostales." Paul is one of the apostles. JC would be a reference to Jesus Christ, and in fact, JC was originally supposed to be a descendent of Jesus.
