Boss fights... FFS!

Apparently the boss fights got outsourced to an external company who designed them, so it isn't surprising they don't exactly mesh.

Personally, I love a challenging boss fight, and didn't have to much trouble with the ones in this game. If you having trouble in Picus, you can get her to charge at you while you stand near one of the generators around the room, then dodge out of the way and shoot the generator... it will release an electrical burst and stun her for a couple seconds.

The only one I have trouble with is the end fight. The rest I just emp'd and typhooned. Few shots to the face later and they are done.

One word: Typhoon. It makes all the boss fights trivial.

I know this is an old thread but I just thought this was kind of funny.

I was also getting my butt handed to me by that crazy lady in the server room. However, change your mindframe in you how approach her and it makes ALL the difference in the world.

Instead of charging in guns-a-blazin' or trying to feel out a strategy, just switch to the shotgun, stock up on ammo and wait right there. If you see or hear her, shoot her. If she charges, move out of the way and shoot her. If she runs, shoot her.

Just play it calm and stand still with the shotgun and it's easy. Alternatively, if you have a bunch of landmines you could throw those down, too.

Blowing up the server cores also work but you have to hop around a lot to avoid electrical damage.

I SHOCKED HER WITH THAT STUN GUN THING AND SHE FROZE UP! I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS A GLITCH OR WHAT,BUT SHE JUST FROZE AND I WAS ABLE TO GET AS MANY FREE HITS I WANTED AND KILL HER,LOL!
