Is the guy at the beginning talking to the anonymous people over the computer Bob Page? I never finished Deus Ex 1 and played it many years ago, so I don't remember much in that game. He was obviously talking about Megan and trying to get her to work for him somehow. Where does he fit in with HR. Does he work with Darrow or Taggart? Do we know who the anonymous people were Page was talking to?
shareYes, that is Bob Page and he works for the Illuminati. He was talking to Darrow, Taggart and the chinese woman. He's basically a shadow antagonist. He's there pulling the strings but we never get to meet him. The only time we see him or hear him is at the beginning and end of the game.

shareI always assumed one of the avatars he was talking to was Morgan Everette. The one female is obviously Zhao. I guess Taggart and Darrow make sense as the other 2 males.

I think the person he was typing to might have been Morgan Everett. I'm pretty sure he wasn't in on the conversation with the others. But Darrow, Taggart and Zhao were in on the conversation. I don't know who the others were though. They could've been Stanton Dowd and Joseph Manderley.

The one blustery voice I thought was Barret. The accent was spot on. But would he be high ranking enough to be in on everything? I know the novel points to yes, but does the standalone game canon?
And I feel that the AOL IM guy was Everette, it would be just too perfect for it to not be.
