mistake in "The Missing Link" DLC

I'm just now playing the beginning of the "Missing Link" DLC for this game and in it Jensen is confined in a chair that shuts down all of his augmentations with an EMP field. However, Jensen dies at the beginning of the original game and is only brought back to life by replacing much of his internals with augments. If they shut off his augments he would die. Oops.
