Aaron Johnson's film Nowhere Boy

I thought this film was a brilliant tribute. I loved Sam Taylor-Wood's vision for the film. One of my fav scenes from the is when John and Paul meet for the first time. That's definitely how I would picture them as kids. Clip of that scene attached below.

Aaron Johnson is almost brilliant in everything he's in.
I think he can truly be a fantastic actor, he just needs to pick the right scripts. He's good in Nowhere Boy, but Chatroom isn't exactly an Oscar winner. Kick-Ass is a favourite of mine, and it's my favourite superhero movie, but it's nothing too special.
I haven't seen Albert Nobbs, but I know there was Oscar talk for it (Glenn Close's performance, even though she didn't win).
I think he's on the right track, he'll be up for an Oscar or Golden Globe in no time.

Matthew Beard is a much better actor than Johnson !!

He's the one I'll be looking out for but Johnson does seem to be making interesting choices.
