Questions about 'Kiss' (episode 13)

Didn't quite grok the bit with the child molester kissing the dog on the nose to bring it back to life. Was that just her imagination? Regardless, I don't see the point.

And how were we supposed to interpret German Girrl's reaction to Zoey having been pregnant with Donner's kid?

reply

It's called mouth-to-nose (or mouth-to-snout) resuscitation - an accepted method used to try and restart an animal's breathing (here's one link about this: http://www.rescuecritters.com/cpr.html there are many more, just google it).

It was an interesting twist: The mouth of a pedophile that kissed Paula as a little girl was the same mouth that ended up saving her dog's life. Talk about conflicting emotions!

On the IMDb, nobody knows you're a (I said nobody knows!).

Or was the 'dog' really her? ie, she was projecting trauma she experienced onto the dog.

It was a bit unclear, but probably purposely.

Yes it's the apocalypse alright. I always thought I'd have a hand in it.

I'd say Nadia's reaction to the news that Zoe aborted the fetus fathered by Donner and that now Donner would know, too, meant that a) it means Nadia's probably lost Donner permanently as a bed partner or anything else, other than crewmate and friend, because now he has a concrete reason to focus on Zoe, b) Donner will likely be screwed up over the fact that his vasectomy failed and he was responsible for almost losing Zoe from the program, further distancing him from Nadia but potentially also screwing up his concentration on his duties during the mission, and c) Nadia was as much in shock as everyone else who didn't know, plus she's probably surprised and pissed that she hadn't guessed this herself much earlier and that others kept it from her, given how much she enjoys gossip and how attached she is to Donner as a playmate. I'd say it was a pretty big bomb to set off in the season finale.

I hope we get a chance to find out, although I would not bet money on the chances of Defying gravity coming back.

The other thing that went unanswered (I think) was how Zoe got back into the program. She was removed, and on her way home during all that tattoo stuff.

My suspicions were that the guy with 1 leg was injured somehow, had his leg amputated, and Zoe was brought back.
