conflated and confused information

It's very easy when campaigning to get carried away in your claims, and regrettably this is one of the many problems with this movie.

While it's true that too much of what we all (and kids especially) eat is of dubious nutritional value, to jump from criticizing processed food with too much salt and sugar in it, to wondering what the additives are doing, to saying that the answer is only organic vegetables, is a very long and treacherous jump.

And of course all of the other bad things about modern life get thrown in the there too: pollution, genetically modified foods (a major point of contention in France in particular).


Organic farming doesn't solve ALL our problems! In fact the film doesn't even provide a satisfactory answer as to whether it answers ANY!
