Waisted a gift card on this sh_t. Everyone talks about how great it is and NF doesn't have it to rent so I used a gift card to buy it off amazon. Now I will be selling it on eBay. If any of you lovers of CRAP want to buy it check out eBay. The Shield is 100% better show. Why do UC cops always talk into their watches? Like HELLO! if one body guard of the person they are trying to get in under cover seas some guy sitting at a bar talking into the band of his watch what do you think they will do. Show is so lame and slow. The only reason I am finishing this out before selling it is to give it a fare chance and because Dylan McDermett and "Dean" are pretty tasty.

Yeah, well The Shield had a damn lousy ending. Dark Blue was better than a lot of the crime shows on at the time (and since).

The ending of the shield sucked, this show was lame and Southland's the greatest.

Ur a Fu*king Moron! This show was Badd Azz! Dark and edgy, great character dynamic, no quick cut-shots in order to cater to this moronic generation (Of which, you obvioulsy represent).

I was pissed to see it cancelled but agree with another poster that Southland is amazing! It takes the edgyness of the Shield, the procedural storylines of L&O and the realism of Cops, combines them in a blender and then flips it on its head! BAM!!

The two things I enjoyed most about Dark Blue.

The introduction of Alex Rice (not the actress, the character and storyline) killed any interest I had in this show.
