Light Blue

What happened? I enjoyed the first season. I was happy when they decided to pick up the show. The ratings could have been better.

To my surprise they ruined everything that made the show great. They dumbed down the show to appeal to a mass audience.(It backfired)(Ratings are even worse.)

They added a new actress to appeal to women. That's not all they did. They slashed the budget. The show looks like it's filmed on a backlot.

Carter was an interesting character. Now he's just bland. He would never allow the FBI to take over his team. Especially someone who's incompetent.

Carter doesn't answer to the FBI. He answers to the LAPD. She's overstepping her authority by dictating LAPD manpower. Working on a case together is one thing. Taking over a team that doesn't really exist is ludicrous.

The great thing about the Dark Blue team was the fact that they worked outside the system.

Another problem with Season 2...

Carter would never let his personal life affect his work. Sadly, Carter has become another clichéd law enforcement character.

Carter also is guy and what straight man would turn down a chance with Tricia Helfer.

My thoughts exactly. I never thought I'd be disappointed to see Tricia Helfer on show, but since her arrival the show has been too soft. And some of the main cast aren't getting the screen time the got in season 1.

Season 1 was awesome, I was surprised it wasn't more famous...It was nice to see a show that could be gritty, but to a limit, without falling into The Shield territory..

They added her for the female audience? lol. I for one never asked for her.
What a mediocre character. I wanted her to go away, but sadly the WHOLE series went away.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
