Whats up with the low reviews and hate of this show and house of payne?

I don't enjoy being irritated by a dumb, silly, stupid fool, wanna be Urkel who's always distroying or messing something up clown of a man, who is just plain in the way. If the show was just about Will, Sasha and the kids I would probably watch it more. I really like some of the story lines but I can't really enjoy it because that irritating ignoramos keeps popping up.

Yeah, the ratings are pretty damn low. To tell you the truth, I hated the show before I even saw a episode, but after seeing some episodes of both shows, I enjoy them. I wouldn't give them a 2/10 like most on here, I gave Meet The Browns a 6. LeRoy Brown is pretty funny, always getting something mixed up. They aren't the best shows on TV, but if nothing else is on, its tolerable.

Just a thought...

First: I dislike Browns buffoonery. And he gets worse and worse with every episode.

Second: I dislike most of the stories. It's like these people have gone through everything that could be gone through in the course of a few episodes. Sashas ex who was a drug dealer pops up in the first few episodes, Brianas been raped, Joaquins coach is being inappropriate with him, Ednas been a hooker or something, Will kills a patient, Sasha has a miscarriage, Sasha is cheating, the other nurse thinks she contracted AIDS....I can go all day.

I think for this to be a comedy there is way too much drama.

I think House of Payne is horrible--it's lazily written and acted, full of every cliche and sham emotion that's ever appeared in a sitcom. The kids are absolutely awful, and Allen Payne is very disappointing (having been very good in most of the things I've seen him in). And after seeing the Mr. Brown character on the show, I figured the spinoff would be even worse.

Which is why it surprised me that Meet The Browns was a much better show. It isn't a great show or anything, but it's a lot less predictable than House of Payne, and a lot less sentimental. I wish they didn't shuttle new characters on and off the show the way they do, and I don't like how they abandoned the "take care of the old...." storyline. Mr. Brown is a silly character, but he's not the center of the show like I expected him to be--he's a silly sideline.

They all secretly love it :) or maybe they're just "wagonists" since a few people say they hate it and its stupid or whatever they decide they dont like it either without ever seeing an episode.

Anyway, if i don't like a show i'm certainly not going to spend any of my time searching for it on the web to post as many comments as some of these users do

I agree with GoodShipLollipop427.I like both shows,but I like 'Meet the Browns' more.It just gives me something to laugh about after a hard day at work.To each their own.I think both shows deserve better ratings than they are getting.
