I wish they would've explained how Nicole got the money for a name change and breast implants, but couldn't afford to change her ID to female. Maybe Michigan is one of the states where you can't change your ID until you've had the surgery.

Also she was saying she needed $20,000 for the surgery, but isn't it much cheaper overseas? I thought about $8,000

I would assume she started transitioning and had some money but ran out. Start to finish SRI can exceed $100K easily. Esp going male to female since there is so much more that usually needs to be done.
