What's the deal with the research for this latest episode?

In the first story, Sandra Layne's photo says it's of her in 2003, but she didn't kill her grandson until 2012 (and they even give the correct year of her incarceration--2013--in the voice-over). In the second story, they claim Lena Driskell got out in 2011, but from what I can find online, she's still in prison.

Who did the research and proofed it for this episode? That's a lot to get wrong.

I'm from Detroit and the Sandra Lane story has always been hush hush. I couldn't get any clear details. It really happened in West Bloomfield, MI, a well to do suburb outside Detroit. No one could believe that happened in such a nice area and a grandma shooting her grandson? Craziness.
