Yes, he got the girl and it was a happy ending and all. But then he just woke up back in 2009. After everything he did to convince her he was the one and accept his proposal, he missed the wedding and the first 10 years of their life together.

I saw no indication he was getting his memories back.
I thought the same thing. Hopefully though like the movie Frequency he held his past memories but gained the new ones too.
