Except instead of coming from a lab in SF, it came from Wuhan China. The end of humanity is near. In fact, cats, dogs and otyher animals have been getting smarter and in a few months, they could acquire the power of speech

While the COVID-19 pandemic is obviously a very serious matter, it’s definitely nowhere near the same scale as Simian Flu.
People have actually recovered from COVID-19, in fact the number of recoveries out numbers the number of death by quite a lot (so far there has been 6,076,376 recoveries and 537,412 deaths) while the Simian Flu is pretty much a confirmed death sentence.
