You are the Princess Shireen of House Baratheon, and you are my daughter.

Why did it give you chills?

reply

Because Primates scared me as a kid. I was always afraid of them...

Lemurs are the only harmless creatures in the monkey family though. They eat berries and stuff and hand around in trees.

Primates scared me as a kid too - especially the seniors in high school.

How is Mark's movie plot tied into The Rise & The Dawn? Are there 2 different Earth's in time warp or are there 2 different planet locales with apes in charge?

reply

The 2001 film is unrelated to Rise and Dawn as are the original films from the 70s.

reply

Every time I watch that scene I feel the same reaction the first time I saw it. Chills. The actor's reaction helps sell it

reply

When I first watched Rise, I had never seen a Planet of the Apes movie and had no idea what they were about or what to expect. When that happened, I felt a pang of genuine fear and a rush of adrenaline because it was so unexpected and set up so well - you know something is going to happen, but not /that/! At least for me, having no prior knowledge. I wish I could experience seeing it for the first time again. Even now I still get adrenaline from seeing it!
