Not even theoretically feasible...

No matter how intelligent that ape became, and I mean you could replace it's brain with a computer, it wouldn't be able to speak. One theory as to why human evolved to a more advanced species away from other primates is the development of our larynx. Why do you think that [even exceptionally intelligent] gorillas have to be taught sign language to communicate with humans? Their tongues and larynx's don't work in accordance enough to produce complex sounds, and that's a fact of their anatomy, not intelligence.

Secondly, since the apes and homo sapiens are in the same biological order, how is it that the virus destroys the homo sapiens body (by presumably attacking the nervous or respiratory system), but when the primates inhale it, their brain power is increased?

Honestly, who cares. I can name hundreds of fantasy and science fiction films I loved that contained "things" that were not even theoretically possible. Thats why thier fantasy and fiction films. The world of films would be boring as all hell if filmmakers were only allowed to use ideas that were theoretically possible. I am very thankful that people like you are on IMDB making ridiculous posts as opposed to being in Hollywood dictating filmmaking policy.

Still Shooting With Film!

Are you trying to 'sound' smart or are you really that daft? I'm a theoretical/computational linguist and even I don't have a problem setting aside facts from fiction for the sake of a good story, providing that, at the very least, some reasonable pseudo-explanation is given.
Yet you don't seem to have any problems doing it for a silly, badly edited schlock like "Batman v Superman" (wanna talk about the science of that?) or the patronizing, details-perverting agitprop that is "American Sniper", which you think are great films?

Wanna talk about the theoretical feasibility of Star Wars? Or, for that matter, most Sci-fi films, horror films, action/adventure films...

Perhaps I'm overreacting--I only saw the few ratings IMDB compared with mine, didn't dig through all to see what you gave this--but please tell me you didn't give this film a low rating due to this aspect?

Ignorance is bliss... 'til it posts on the Internet, then, it's annoying.

so out of allllllllllll the movies that depicted animals talking, this is the ONLY one that you deemed "not even theoretically feasible"?!?!?!?

i highly suggest you stop watching movies. go read non-fiction books to challenge your imagination instead.

don't even dare pick up the book "animal farm" by orson welles. your brain will probably explode halfway through the first chapter.

I disagree. I found this film to be very realistic and everything depicted on screen is very much feasible
