But i feel like i tune into this show to see everyone else besides the star...

ruby's father's ridiculous behavior
...the quips back and forth between Patrick and Audie
...Jordan's strange little crush..
...and the sarcastic, wise little brother beyond his years

i just don't find the character of ruby to be very interesting at all... regardless of her dramatic backstory.

does anyone else feel this way...?

i got the same kind of feeling out of shows like icarly... and zoey 101...
not to compare the three in any way. i just remember this sort of apathy i had towards the main character

I agree that the main character lacks what it takes to draw in the audience, but I have always loved Alexa Vega, so I still enjoy watching her. As for the other characters, Patrick and Audie are definitely my faves.

Oh, and DEFINITELY agree about iCarly...
