What if Johnny Depp would play the Butler

Depp has played some creepy roles in the past and I think if they make an American movie of this great Anime, Depp would do justice as the Demon Butler.

He would be awesome in this! the first episode Sebastian is pretty much like Sweeney Todd.. he put a man in an oven and then made a pie!! XD

I definitely believe he'd do well as Sebastian no doubt, but seeing as he has played a role somewhat similar to Sebastian I'm not so sure he'd take it on(unless Burton was directing it haha). Also, Sebastian is so thin framed and rather tall, no offense to Johnny Depp because I find that body wonderful, but that plus something else about Johnny Depp that I can't exactly place makes me believe he might not be the right actor to play Sebastian. But then again, when people heard Heath Ledger would be playing the Joker they laughed it off but were proven wrong. So this is just my opinion.

He'd make a great Johnny Depp but I'd like to see maybe other people take it on. This would be such a cool movie if directed by the right guy.

agreed, I just don't see the appeal of Johnny Depp *smh*

also he looks nothing like sexy Sebastian!

At one point (think Fear & Loathing, or CryBaby), he was a relatively good actor, but he got stuck as Jack Sparrow (a stupid character, too) and now anything he's in, it's as if it's "Jack Sparrow" as whatever character he's supposed to be. Plus he's completely full of himself now, he thinks he's some kind of deity or something. He's extremely overrated, extremely crappy & honestly, not attractive. The man is boring.... and I'm sick as hell of everyone always mooning over him. There are hundreds of better actors & much more attractive people in the world.
He would do such shame to Sebastian that it would make so many cry. Besides, I'd prefer someone Japanese to play him anyways...& for there not to be some crappy, horrible, americanized live-action crapfest "movie" of this.

I agree with the unknowns. I LOVE Johnny Depp and even want him to play L in Death Note, but Sebastian? Not for him.

Is he tall enough?..
A tall skinny/slim actor who can play emotionless calm AB blood type characters would be better!
