This isn't filmmaking....it's "still life" on film

My family and I got through about 20 minutes of it and then we HAD to turn it off. The suffering had to end.

Bela Tarr is an interesting guy but I'm not surprised he has said he hates 'stories'. His films have none. He just wants to capture people going about their daily lives, in all their boredom and tedium.

Tarr should just call them what they are....'wannabe documentaries'....and stop pretending like these are great works of fiction.

He's a travesty to the world of film, and a fraud.

I mean..I get what the op means...the film too slow and uneventful.....hopefully his other films are different..I"m watching damnation next
