I LOVED this movie

It's nothing original. It's not groundbreaking, award worthy cinema. It may be forgotten in 20 years. But this movie ruled.

I loved it so much. This is probably the best torture flick I've ever seen. The director has obviously seen lots and lots of torture porn movies, and is a big fan, then turned his love of this rather iffy genre and made a bomb a$$ movie. It was so good.

The characters made this movie what it is. I loved each one of them in their own way. Even the villains. Even the completely pointless sub-story with the prom and the stoner and goth chick. I loved it all.

This is how to make a good violent movie. It was propery tempered with the right mix and right style of comedy and it made sense. Perhaps not the brainiest of stories, but it was at least cohesive. The beginning, middle and end were all thought through. I felt like the ending was not an afterthought. Most torture movies are formed around the torture, and then an ending is haphazardly thrown on. Not this one!!!

Hooray!! What a gloriously gory movie. Nothing genius, but lots of good fun. Which is a nice escape from all the heavy, sad and complex movies I typically watch. I dunno. I loved it. What do you think?!
