What is up with the constant background music?!

I can't understand why the most recent Hallmark Channel movies (Uncorked, Flower Girl and Always & Forever) have music/soundtrack playing in almost all of the scenes.

It's ok to have JUST A CONVERSATION going on in a scene!! IMHO it takes away from the dialogue and the scene.

I've mentioned this in other posts. In this movie, in particular, the dialogue was almost indistinguishable behind the annoying music. I have no idea why they do it, but it drives me crazy.

It's supposed to add a general and constant sentimental atmosphere.
For me, it's the mark of over-the-top corny melodrama.
