Douglas Sirk meets Kenneth Anger...
I know some of you know who Sirk is- anyone familiar with the work of Kenneth Anger? Some scenes in here bordered on the derivative- but I thought for a first film this was quite well done.

Admittedly I'm more acquainted with the later, more psychotropic stuff. Is it more similar to his earlier stuff? I've read his earlier shorts were more lyrical and mellow...
