Did you cry? (**SPOILERS**)

This movie had me in tears all the way through. In the beginning when George had the nightmare and kissed Jim goodbye, when George was told he wasn't allowed to go to the funeral, when he had the moment with the dog that smelled like 'buttered toast', when George and Charlie were fighting...

I didn't cry at the end though, strangely. I guess they had dropped so many hints that I knew it was coming. Was anyone else sobbing like a baby when they watched this?

There's nothing the least bit funny about stealing a meal from Neal McBeal the Navy SEAL.

I also cried, but not the ending. I think the ending is unexpected, in fac I actually believe George is already dead when he tells us the story (like Sunset Boulevard).

It is not our abilities that show who we truly are...it is our choices

I think the ending is unexpected ...
I actually thought the ending was somewhat ridiculous ... taking irony just a little too far.🐭

I would have preferred that he killed himself at the end rather than die as he did, but it was forgivable.

I also didn't cry at the end. I didn't cry for any of it, actually. I was just in a state of teary-eyed awe at the melancholic beauty of this film. It was just beautiful from start to finish.

Instant 10/10 on first viewing, and that never happens for me.

I didn't cry during the movie, but i almost did after it ended, i watched it at 12am, it was incredible, and i couldn't stop thinking about it, i barely slept. Colin Firth's face is haunting me.

The only time I cried was at the end because it hit me really hard about how the ending turned out.

The aria from the opera La Wally (Ebben ne andrò lontana) is always irresistible, especially when a protagonist rehearses the 'best' position to shoot an old revolver against his own face :-(

Are you referring to the music score at the end?
