Can we get a remake

I would love for a filmakers to redo this movie with a much more satisfying ending. We should no more of what happened to the kids the lover and her trial.

I understand your point, but there are a few ways of looking at this. Artistically, the ending is satisfying. Of course, what Suzanne does at the end is not morally satisfying. Movies shouldn't have to have moral heroes. The movie is about her, not the other people. To go into the lives of the other people would be okay for a sequel but not a remake.

I disagree, the movie seemed to stop short of a real ending. I felt weather it was artistic or not to whomever watched it they seemed to stop short and left it without any real conclusion. I have heard this from many viewers including one or two critics who feel the same way....When you watch the movie they draw you into building up the ending and with this it was simply not worth the build up.

Personally? I thought the ending spoke for itself. She's not getting away with it. She and her lover will not be living happily ever after.

Taking a few extra minutes to show her get arrested or in court or in jail would not have been as good as ending it with her in the arms of the man she threw away her life for.

Now, if they wanted to have them hop on a boat and get out of the country, that would be worth mentioning. Otherwise I think it's pretty clear she was going to jail for a long time.

Don't try to cash in love, that check will always bounce.
