Great show but left me wanting more Frisky

I would agree for the most part but this show also seems to be reaching a bit more in the writing. Frisky had pretty tight writing and about 90-95% of the jokes connected, this show seems to be playing the lowest common denominator at times, and does not encourage us to pay attention at all times in order to catch the references. I don't know, hopefully it will improve, but Mr. Ford alone seemed to be a reach, as they made him excessively stupid in the first episode. Another person who seemed to lack some of his old energy, and who also seemed a bit dumbed down was Stan. I really hope they can capture the great energy and purposeful stupidity of Frisky, but I will continue to have my doubts after watching the first couple of episodes.

Couldn't agree more. If the writes can't do better than this, then can this and bring back Frisky Dingo. FD was simply greatness. That and Venture Brothers were by and far the best things to ever grace the [AS] airwaves. By comparison, Xtacles are mediocre at best. Although I have to admit, Rape Ape was pretty damned funny.

Agreed. There were a few chuckles, but they were mostly references to Frisky Dingo. God love Mr. Ford, and Stan. Other than that...no. The Chase character is sort of Xander-like, but not nearly as funny.

I feel that the reason the Xtacles were funny in FD is because you never saw their faces. They were like these big imposing robot guys who talked about the most domesticated, silly things through those helmet-radio deals. That was funny.

I keep hearing that there will be no more Frisky Dingo. If that is so, I will be sorely disappointed.

This show is only meh compared to Frisky Dingo. Its been more than a friggin year since the last FD episode, come on! Bring it back!
