The end of a character (Spoiler)

I know that the Jesse Stone movies are not CGI fests, and I'm okay with that. The movies are character driven, and so well-made that I am a huge fan. I already can't wait for the next one.

That being said, did anyone notice the unrealistic crash that killed Alan? The SUV hit him in the legs, and instead of initially crashing into the windshield before being thrown to the street, he stayed pretty much upright as he was thrown.

Loved the movie, but being "detail oriented," that little glitch caught my eye.

Great movie but yeah, I try to forget about that.

Come on guys! That's not "a Glitch"; that's ART. Seriously.

I forgot about that little hit and run--it was horribly done. The guy shot up like he hit a trampoline. I was so done in by the ending, the stilted dialogue and abrupt ending, it drove the accident right out of my mind. I'm hoping they take more time and care with the next Stone movie.

Did Alan deliberately step in front of the car or did Gino Fish have him killed?
Seems like Jesse set him up.

reply

Alan was gay and when gay people get hit by cars they die in a theatrical, flamboyant way. It's gay law.
