i figured since she was in the previews, she had a big part. any idea why her scene/character was even in the movie (other than shes hot - this im aware of)?

I haven't seen any of the prior films or read any of the books, so I didn't know if she had a significant part in an older one or not.

She's eye candy and has done lots of nudity in other movies. She's definitely aging very well. A 10 in my book and was dating Clooney for awhile. When she started talking about wearing no panties oh boy did I really start paying attention.

This scene was actually incredibly stupid... simply because this actress DID NOT play Sissy Hathaway in the prior films. That character was portrayed previously by a far better, although certainly less slutty, actress.
I'm sure there were a lot of others like me who were watching this incredulous that filmmakers think they can switch the actors who play certain parts and that fans won't notice.
Absolutely ridiculous.
If the previous actress isn't available, cut the unneeded story arch from the movie altogether.
The people who made this film made bad choices.
So now it makes more sense - it is a character that appeared in prior films.
Now the name of the other actress?
Maybe she refused to come shoot one small scene or was too busy?
The Cissy Hathaway character only previously showed up in the prequel "Night Passage" and was played by Stephanie March of "Law and Order: SVU" fame.
As for why she didn't come back for "No Remorse", I don't know.
The point? Aside from a continuation of the "every woman on Earth throws themselves at Jesse" maybe it was to show despite Jesse's flaws he has a moral code where he won't become involved with partners or ex-partners of people who consider him a friend, in this case Hasty.
