Congratulations!

You have officially made the world's most annoying game. My God. Does anyone know a more annoying game?

Considering your post is almost three years old, I don't even know why I'm bothering to respond to it, but I just wanted to say that I think you're full of crap and are obviously a troll. This game was awesome! I consider it to be the best driving/racing game I've ever played.

So anyone who disagrees with you is a troll? Nice. Next time, don't bother replying, three years or otherwise.

Nope, this is it. This game f-ing cheats. I drive a fully modified Lambo Gallardo and routintely get blown off the line by Chargers and Corvettes. If I'm racing a motorcycle, and we happen to collide, guess who gets shoved off the road and into a wall or a parked car? Hint: NOT the motorcycle. And then there is the computer drivers' miraculous ability to make 90 degree turns. I have been neck and neck with them, and had to turn. They didn't even slow down, made the turn PERFECTLY, not even drifting or squealing their tires. I, on the other hand, puny mortal that I am, had to use the hand brake and still drifted into a wall.

The one thing that makes it worthwhie is that while the game cheats, it taunts you about not being able to beat it. Sort of like a sixth grader beating up a first grader and calling him a p*ssy while doing it.

In short, F this F-ing game.

Yeah I understand the frustration. I bought the complete edition recently because I felt that the game had potential, and I read that they improved some stuff. I played it a bit longer, but ultimately, I stopped playing it again. It's a pity. It's like they intentionally took the fun out of it.

I've noticed that the game cheats SOMETIMES and yes, Rubberband AI is a BIG problem, but it's no less annoying than any other racing game of its time.

Here's a tip: The other racers' cars are always equal to your own, so if you come to a race with a stock D-class all the other racers will be driving the same class of car with the same mods, and if you race a fully tricked-out A-class then your opponents are going to be racing the same..

The thing that annoys ME the most about the game (besides the fact they never made a Midnight Club 5. MC:LA is by far the best in the series) is the freaking cops who'll flash their lights at you for pretty much no reason at all. I can lose them easily enough but it still gets on my nerves when I'm on my way to an important race just minding my own beeswax being all model citizen on the road (at least when the radar's beeping anyway) and top at a traffic light only to get some Officer Interruptus blaring his siren at me because he wants to play World's Wildest Police Chases. F the police! Also there's the issue of teleporting cars. I just spent TWO DAMN HOURS chasing Nikolai on the freeway because he kept teleporting around.

It seems to me that the real reason you're losing is that you suck and you're just frustrated. I hope your skills have improved since you made that post, but just try not to crash too much, keep an eye out for shortcuts, watch the mini-map to see where the next checkpoints are so you can plan your moves accordingly and you'll be fine. Don't forget to install Zone as soon as you unlock it, it WILL save your life. This game's ESPECIALLY unforgiving when you start racing higher-class cars.

Also: NEVER sell or upgrade your starter car except for nitrous, you'll need it if you want any hope in Hell of winning the DUB tournaments.
