You are about to spread Jelly on your toast when you drop it. Does it land on the Jelly Side or the dry side?

Plenty of YouTube videos will provide the answer. Mythbusters tested the odds too.

My Statistics professor in college had the class try to predict heads or tails before he tossed a quarter. About half the class predicted heads, and the other half predicted tails. it landed on its edge.

I tried this once, but before the quarter landed the government taxed me 25 cents for unrealized gains.

The answer is: there is no jelly side because "you are about to spread jelly" means you haven't done it yet when you drop it.
