Why am I bothering to post?

And about such a lame movie? (Dead giveaway - virtually no photos of the actors involved.) A human need to share/vent, I suppose.

Why didn't Edgar knock out the parents and lock 'em up, then catch the daughter? At her age, she would probably be more "attractive" to certain buyers, and more easily controlled. The parents would be "tamable" via threats against their spouse/daughter, and still young enough for certain purposes.

Tongueless-guy, despite what other posters have said, could still be used as a "stud"/for manual labor, and with no back-talk to annoy his owner.

You stop at the *nearest* place, then, when no one comes to the door in the middle of the night, go looking for somebody in an outbuilding? And how did it go from daytime to middle-of-the-night so fast?

We don't see Kathy actually get shot, do we? Why? Tip-off to penultimate scene, I guess - which would be stupid.

Why her whole childlike-behavior/insane co-captive act, in the first place? So that just in case they escape - and take her along - she can "force" them to go to House #2? (The mere existence of which was dumb.) And why would she kill her "favorite toy?" Guess maybe she couldn't take her back to the first place as authorities would be sniffing around - eventually?

And an excellent move when held captive and at the mercy of a sadistic killer is to spit in his face. Not that "Leave her alone!" and "Let me out of here!" were inspired lines of dialog.

There; I'm vented.

we see kathy shot when the hero pops out of the slave girl's wooden box,
looked like a mortal gut shot to me, and very improbable for her to return at the end to kill the hero and slave girl
