Lousy, very amateurish. Naked fat girl doesn't show anything. One would expect some tits and ass, but you see nothing. Girls are ugly also.

Not especially bad or good I think. You've seen it all before, but it's entertaining enough to kill 80 minutes with.

Only real complaint is how unbelievably stupid Nick is. He has the keys, but goes looking for a crowbar to free the others. And when he has a chance to shoot the main bad guy, he instead opts for hitting him with the shotgun instead, thus getting stabbed... I know it wouldn't have been as "suspenseful", but the character is just plain dumb. Oh, yeah, almost forgot - when they get to the car, he has no problem finding the key to open the door, so why does he have to search through them again to start it?

astream99- Good points and I added numerous elsewhere. When people have an opportunity to escape as the boy and girl did no way would anyone take that loud, arse retarded girl with them. Then the boy takes her directions? Gimme a break!

Why did they stop driving? Unless you're out of gas I'm driving as far as that truck takes me. Screw any neighbors, they may be one of his customers...

I think they gave one of the girls to the "reviewers" listed on the DVD cover...

I liked it. Doesn't break any new ground, but it has enough suspense and decent performances to elevate it above many of the other DTV post-Saw/Hostel films.

Not too sure. I am in the 1st 1/2 hour and I am not impressed so far, at all. Will give it another 30-60 minutes.

you have now officially lost your mind!

I couldn't even finish it. I'm a fan of squirm inducing low budget horror too, and this was pure garbage. I dunno how much they paid off the reviewers from the front of the box, but it must have been a pretty penny... not even worth the 60 mins it'd take to watch it on 1.5 fast forward speed...

I liked this film. It was quite grim and nasty, with a good deal of suspense and a strong feeling of sheer nihilistic hopelessness pervading throughout.

i totally agree.. for a low budget flick, this movie delivered on its promise and then some.. i was blown away by how effective the acting and production values were.. as woody said, the suspense was taut and the unexpected turns made it seem amazingly realistic for a low budget product.. which once again goes to show that tons of $ will not buy you a decent film.. but real creative genius will elevate a modest financial investment to quite an impressive level.. i.e., it's not the $ behind a production that will ultimately make or break it but the creative vision behind the camera.. well done to the entire crew who made this movie possible for delivering a product which, despite its usually formulaic genre, still felt amazingly unscripted and uncontrived.. i was sucked right into the plot and mesmerized from beginning to end.. in fact, i don't think $ would have made this film any better for it is pretty damn effective just as it is.. solid acting.. check!; tons of suspense.. check!; gore.. check!; claustrophobic nihilism.. check! ;-)

bottomline: don't listen to the naysayers.. give this movie a chance and make up your own mind.. i believe you'll be as pleasantly surprised as i was..

The answer is no. It isn't

Primer did better.

Come on, for the budget I thought it was very good. Could the characters have been written to do some things differently, sure. But then there's a chance they would have gotten away in the first half hour, lol. I saw it on Chiller, probably a lot cut out but didn't mind that. I did like the surpise, I won't giv a spoiler as Chiller will probably keep re-airing it.

how much of the $50,000 production cost did you contribute?

Surprisingly good. I didn't go in with high expectations so maybe that helped. In retrospect, I'm glad I have it in my collection.
