"He doth nothing but talk of his horse." (The Merchant of Venice)

are you sure?

Love
Paris

Its just me myself and I

reply

“The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.”

reply

I don't think she recited the WHOLE thing, but this is it

"Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved."

Do any of you happen to remember the marriage vows Hugh Grant recited back to SJP under the stars? I'm having trouble finding that speech online. Thanks!

reply

She says up until "shaken"

His vows:
"I promise never to take you for granted,or utter a word unkind.
Never to allow my affections to be recanted, or stop marvelling at your behind.
To also marvel at your walk, your wit, your refusal to condone animal slaughter, Your wisdom, your laugh, your inability to boil water.
To be your best friend for the rest of my life,
And to thank the god you're not sure about, for fooling you into being my wife."

Thank you so much for typing this out, FaithBlack!

I wasn't a big fan of the movie but I thought this poem was so beautiful.
