what the heck happened? Who were the ghosts at the board walk? Why was the guy pointing & freaking out in the van? And what the heck happened after she threw out the bbok? I'm hoping I saw a bad edit on fear net and some one knows the answers.

shareThe guy in the car was presumably pointing at some demon that he saw (and the others didn't). He had the same expression earlier before he was hospitalized. Presumably after the girl threw out the book, all of them died in the car crash. It was not clear who were the ghosts (a couple with two children) sitting on the bench at the end and the film did not show their faces.
One problem with Hong Kong horror films is that they just aim at scares (the 3D in the film was actually quite amateur) and do not care much about logic and integrity of the plot. Wasn't that guy hospitalized in a critical condition? How did he manage to sit in the car leaving Bangkok without any sign of previous injuries?
