Could have been SO much better....

...IF they had a different director who didn't waste 90% of this no-budget amateurish movie on mindless chatter, boring long pauses and pointless scenes of people just walking; IF they hired a writer who knew how to actually write a plot (of ANY kind); IF they hired actors who had a personality and could actually, you know, ACT (the mother is a pathetic joke); IF they hired a cuter Asian actress and gave her a nude scene; and most of all, IF they designed a monster that didn't look like some guy who slipped on a scuba outfit and a cheap Halloween mask.

Then maybe, just MAYBE, it may have been watchable.
