Saw this movie with a friend at the Charlotte Film Festival tonight, and we absolutely loved it! Great acting, great location, great costume design. But most of all, GREAT camera work and editing. Not sure why one reviewer on this site trashed the editing, as it was superb. The first scene blew me away --- an expert long tracking shot through the roller rink. The editing stayed true to the film throughout, the pacing was excellent, and risks were taken...and were worth it.

Fantastic work. Completely blown away that this film has only got a 5ish-star rating. Some people --- shame on you.

I have only just heard of this while hunting for Dazed and Confused type films (I was desperate) and it really looks like something I'd like. Great setting, great storyline, great trailer. Great post there as well, passionate and reassuring!

I wonder when it comes out.

I heard it's getting a limited theatrical release on March 25 in New York and L.A. and a few days later in Dallas and Houston.
