Payout at the dogs and his ticket
First of all, didn't his winning ticket show a £1.00 stake?
And secondly, what bookies is going to hold £80,000 in cash? Let alone give it to you? Max payout is usually 5k. Seriously...

No, i thought that too. It's £1000 (i rewound it and checked) ;)
you're right about the cash though, all kinds of money laundering rules in place too let alone having 80k there.
I take you on your word, as I can't rewind - I saw the movie yesterday on TV, and I would swear it only read £1.
I assumed the ticket was a pro-forma thing, and that the £1000 was an illicit, under the counter betting - being paid by a scrupulous criminal...
After all, the message of the film is that everybody is a crook, but there are some that are worse than others...
I never placed a bet on anything, so I'm not familiar with the system.
lol. Its a film....
