Anyone else think this might've been a sequel/spin-off of Step Brothers?

Before you watched the trailer and checked out more of the cast than just "Richard Jenkins" and "Adam Scott", of course (hey, a Will Farell & John C. Reilly-free spin-off could've been possible). I also mistook the name/actor "Mary Elizabeth Winstead" for the woman that plays Richard Jenkins' love interest in Step Brothers (played by Mary Steenburgen).

Anyway, after having watched the trailer, I'm glad it's not related to Step Brothers. Adam Scott's character in that was too much of a douche to use as a main.
