Went to the SF premier for this dreadful film.

I'll say the message was good, but that's really all it had going for it. I've seen better acting in a porn movie, which considering the sex scenes, this came pretty close to. It looked like their DP shot the entire film on his camera phone and the direction of the characters was laughable. The only thing more irritating was sitting through that boring a$$ film and not even getting the closure I deserved.

Maybe G-Unit wanted to make movie a la cinema-verité, and that would explain the naturalistic tone; but I agree the story needed a better end. Maybe the 50Cent's character left a lot of money (hidden inside the mattress?) to his little brother, and the sacrifice had been worthwhile.
