Theresa Theroy *spoilers!*

Theresa is the REAL villain of the game!

-She says the spire is hers at the end of the game!

-If you talk to Mungo you can find out she gave him the music box he sold you at the start of the game. why didn't she just give you the box herself instead being sneaky?

-(Warning: RANT -> Maybe the dog is her minion. It shows up the day she does, it leads you along, it knew before you that you where coming home from the spire so it's psychic too, and dogs don't live 50 years so it's unnaturally old too.)

-If you read Lucien diary you find out that she told him about the spire. Can you think of a reason why she would tell a powerful very unstable man who just lost his wife and child about the spire? Theresa didn't go telling some beggar about it, she picked the (if you go by houses) riches guy in the world. If anyone could build the spire it would be Lucien. I wouldn't be surprised if she caused the death of his wife and child.

-Being able to see into the future, she orchestrated the whole even from start to finish (even though I don't thinks it's finished, can you say Fable3 bad guy :p ).

To add to that, notice how she mentions that Hannah needs to be convinced to give up her peaceful ways and not long after her father is conveniently killed by one of Luciens Men.

Also notice that once it's all said and done, she's pretty abrupt with you, simply telling you to begone rather than being more polite about it.

Though whether she is truly evil is yet to be seen, or whether she manipulated people and events in order to get the spire to prevent some great catastrophe.

and if she's the Theresa from the first game (the main character's sister) that would make her 500 years old at the time of Fable 2

yeah i figured she was the same person. but i'm playing through fable 1 right now and seeing Theresa all sweet and innocent i can't imagine her as a malevolent creature.

I think it would be awesome if she was the final boss in Fable 3. Fable 3 is going to be epic.

This is my signature, It's freakin' brilliant isn't it?

Teresa is a fortune teller right? She can see into the future yet she still tells you to buy the box knowing it will end up causing your sister to be shot.

She also puts a low value on human life. You can choose not to revive either the spire builders or your family for 1 000 000 gold. 1 000 000 isn't really that much by that point in the game, especially if you are a Ghoul, Debaser or Decadent. You can pretty easily have 2-3 million by then. I would honesly have expected the amount of gold be al least 10 times what she gives. I would have actually thought it more likely that it became your gold number would become infinity than 1 000 000, a number easily obtainable by that point in the game. Teresa really put s a low value on the lives of countless spire workers.

i find it funny how everyones saying this is the sister of the first fable charecter when at the end i killed her so kinda weird playing it and havin her in it just the sword was better than havin nmy sister lol

She reapears in the See the Future expansion, which was nothing more than a breif set up for Fable III which will apparently be about the child of this games main character. She seems to be trying to weive the world based on her visions throughout the series since she "guides" you in both the first and second game (I think it's obvious that she is your sister from the first game) and I think will will find out what her motives are in the third game.

Also about the dog living 50 years.... at least in my play through one character mentioned it was so long lived becasue it had become magically linked to me.

I have four children with the same husband, and we are still happily married. Which one will they choose for Fable III?

reply

It shows the baby lying in it's crib, so it's aother child you have after the game ends

I have just seen The Vision and found that out. But, just wanted to let you know that I am up to baby #5 and still happily married to the same guy as at the start of the game! First time!

Can it be possible that she's neutral? That she's looking out only for the good of Albion and not herself or the Hero? Looking for, perhaps, stability? And in order to reach that stability she must act in certain ways, do questionable things, and reveal only certain facts to certain people?

As one who can see the future, only she can truly know what is necessary for Albion and decide what to do accordingly. Does she tell everything to a Hero who can be corrupted? Or does she tell this Hero only the bits and pieces that will keep him-or-her motivated? Does she put all her trust in the hope that Lucien will know what to do? Or does she take matters into her own hands and make the events that must happen, happen?

It's not evil. It's smart. The only way for Albion to thrive is for her to be exactly who she is: Cold and calculating, and willing to do anything to keep it alive.
